I just don't see any brand new markets. Most everyone else didn't either a few years ago. Then came iPod, iTunes Music Store, iPhone, iPad. It all seems kinda obvious now, but nobody else did it. That's vision and leadership, and the worl

If I inform you now about the risk of missing the deadline, I look weak, ineffective, etc (even if it is better for the team) but if I wait and some situation develop which I can say will prevent us from reaching the deadline, I don't look

But is that Steve Jobs' real account? If so, I can't say I'm surprised. I would be astonished if this is really him.

Maybe they aren't put into practice because many leaders don't introduce the ideas to their team and set the expectation. You don't have to have a team of automatons to make good communication part of your culture. Set the ground rules and

+1. I work from home but need to go into the office once in a while. Variety being the spice, and all that.

What's next after ipad? Who knows, but I’ve learned not to bet against Apple too often. Who would have foreseen the popularity and success of the iPad just a couple of years ago? The iPhone is barely four years old and has dramatically ch

I agree. Seems a little impetuous given what we know at this point, but maybe I'm naive in my tendency to trust the Dropbox leadership thus far.

Nice improvement to the interface. I've just recently started using these fonts a bit and I really like the service. The collection is growing too so there's a good variety there. Nice job, Google.

Can you elaborate on the practical effects TM has had on your life? I've begun a meditation practice in the past year and I'm finding that I am much more patient and present with circumstances and people, and rarely have moments of anger or

I have an idea for Dell: sell the company and give the money to the shareholders.

Excellent point. An added benefit is that most people will respect you for standing up for what you want, and will tend not to bother you with trivia.

Meditation has been life-changing for me, and combines nicely with a good diet and regular exercise to keep me feeling terrific. Negativity and stress are almost non-existent for me, and at 48 years old I have never felt better in my life.
