You are aware that most people find it hard enough to draw cubes and circles, right? Your advice is great for the artistic minded but for those 'artistically challenged' the 3D thinking is a very alien concept.

I don't think you got the idea right. I am not trying to teach programmers to repaint the mona lisa. I am just providing a different approach and tutorials on how to use inkscape to create game assets that are good enough to be used in game

Thanks for posting the link to the beginnings.... This is where people interested in trying out inkscape and game art creation should start. The helicopter is the most complex and daunting project on my blog so far.

Try and read the earlier post. I think they do explain the approach a lot better. I don't intend to make you into the next daVinci but enable my readers to create decent game art or at the very least better looking place holder art for thei

This is the biggest hurdle for those with a 'I can't draw a stick figure if my life depended on it' attitude. Hand drawing takes a lot of practice and determination to get past the initial 'this looks like sh ' stages.. I agree with you as
