I wonder what how much noise would generated if Apple (or AT&T) did something similar to iPhones.

I'm from Canada too, and after living in the U.S. awhile I think that the analogue to Rememberance Day in Canada is Memorial Day in the U.S.

Personally, I use Flixster, but there are indeed many apps that can interact with Netflix. Apparently Netflix also publishes an API to do precisely this, so the apps (hopefully) aren't doing any funky web-scraping in the background.

Thanks for the insight. I don't have much to add, except that FSW was a truly awesome game. Too bad that Ten Hammers ended up the way it did - while I never played it (due to poor reviews), I was hoping for better.

I think it's not that games are becoming more realistic, it's just that the range of possibilities for art in games is getting closer to realistic. There are still many games that have a distinct art style that is not at all realistic (off-

Off topic, but wouldn't your spouse's in-laws be directly related to you? That would make your wife's brother-in-law your brother. Am I missing something?

I know for myself, the external cue of "there is still food on my plate" is a strong one, since I was raised to always finish my plate. I now do so religiously, but try to set myself up for success by getting smaller portions :).

I think this shows (and I'm probably wording this poorly) that all scientific facts can be verified. We (mankind) have built up this body of knowledge, and if you are determined enough you can validate each link of knowledge in that chain

Thanks for the context. I don't really follow the news closely, and this post (and it's corresponding upvotes) were a little puzzling to me.

FOSS has many benefits, but I had always considered the fact that you can "fix it yourself" not to be one. Do any of you fix random bugs in your desktop applications? (Firefox, for example).

I don't know if you're being facetious, but asking an elderly person to point a wii-mote to type an email isn't likely to work. I've tried using Opera for Wii and it's a pain to type anything more than 5-10 chars, and impossible to type mo

Hah - I had a similar idea, except it wasn't pundits that you measured, it was regular people. You could make predictions, for the future, and people could vote up the "truthfulness" of them as time went by. You'd need some sort of penalt
