I don't agree. An LTS release is not the place to introduce such an huge change. An LTS is a stable release, and should include only stable, well-tested software. I, for one, hope they'll introduce Mir in the "right" way

I don't own one, but I usually see lots of raccomandations for the EdgeRouter Lite or the EdgeRouter POE (which is a Lite + integrated Switch + POE). It does run on Debian, I think you can just ssh in an do everything you want. By the

Like everyone else here, I've been using ssh -D. Which is awesome especially because I have my hosts organized into my ~/.ssh/config file, so if I need a connection in the USA, I'll just type "ssh -D 4444 us".
