Looks like volcanos are provided by a giant static JSON file. I'm curious, where/how was this data compiled? Regardless, very cool.

I should have been more clear. By "congestion", I was not just considering the number of satellites, but the number of artificial objects in total regardless of size, which by many estimates is in the millions.

That's absolutely true. However, even then, space debris is already a major concern[0], and let's not forget the recent debacle with the ESA[1]. What happens when you pump 30,000 more satellites up there? [0]: https://o

It would be silly to think this will actually come to fruition - 30k satellites would represent a 3000% increase in the number of active satellites in LEO, which is already by far the most congested orbital altitude. That said, it would be

Yea, I have been following Monzo for some time. My understanding is that they originally had big plans for their API, but pulled back on development of it as they got more popular. It looks like it still has a lot of restrictions.

Hey, thanks for the response. Instead of spinosaurus.co vs spinosaurus.com, a better comparison akin to the two names i'm contemplating would be something like "eagle.co" vs "bluetable.com". In other words, a simple

What would you do with an API that can't already be done? I understand the hesitancy of giving a third party such as Plaid your bank credentials, however an exposed API to your bank seems to be a rather niche need. As an example, Monzo
