Love it. Sadly scratch-building from styrene is an art that's losing ground to 3D printing. Here's a guy who scratch-builds toy trucks https://www.wittenburg.co.uk/Rc/FordF5Coe.html

The Russians also thought victory in Afghanistan was possible. Their humiliation was absolute. The US' mistake was not capitalizing on Russia's failure, choosing instead to make exactly the same mistake.

Maybe because just a few short years ago Google was the darling of the internet because search and chrome were better than anything else. People believed the do no evil spin. And back then why wouldn't they?

Data is encrypted (or not) by the client. The server is a zero-knowledge sync service. I have an open source client that does client side encryption. I hope that once released people will use it, or ideas from it, to create their own client

There are a whole lot of products and services in that list I haven't heard of so will be checking those out. Notable about the list is the absence of anything from Microsoft. I cannot (will not, truth be told) do without Office and Ex

Multiple clients sync to/from a server. Server syncs with other servers. Part of the sync with clients is a list of all servers so clients can cycle servers until sync succeeds. Eventual consistency. I'm doing this with a small da

The distinction is meaningless. My data, and data about me is collected against my will without my consent for a third party's financial gain. It. Is. Wrong. There is no nuance that legitimizes any, or even any part of it.
