Somewhat pedantic but relevant. A branch is a single commit. There aren't different commits _in_ a branch to checkout. Regardless, if you are asking whether you can check out commit that doesn't have a branch pointing at it, yes y

I'm not sure how you are supposed to search with cmd+p, cmd+p just opens the print dialogue? I just got the password from the dev tools. Cool game.

That's not an example of a distributed system, so it doesn't really clear up whatever the GP was trying to say about time in distributed systems at small scales. But even if it was this is nonsensical. The visual content of a phot

Not the person who posted the snippet. Yea, that should work. It tracks the position of the line that calls from() on the other error to convert it into MyError, which is what the ? operator will expand into.

I don't hear radio stations, you might want to get your antenna checked. But I get the same sounds when I am laying in bed before I fall asleep and they also coincide with twitches or flinches and sometimes visual flashes.

I almost fell for a scam yesterday from an instagram ad. There was an ad for fun printed workout shorts for only €4. I added a couple different prints and was about to pay when I noticed the URL was neehd dot com and the site title was some

It's gone way past that. Some anticheat software runs in the kernel now. They are doing crazy things like looking for PCIe devices trying to DMA game memory. https://github.com/ufrisk/pcileech/blob/master

That isn't a single line macro. Did you mean a single macro crate? Most crates in rust have more than a single macro/function, but some do. Regardless, it's not at all related to how "robust" or not the language eco

You can use the mouse to select things in the terminal. In vim/neovim `:set mouse=a` and you can scroll around, select things and move the cursor just like you can in a regular GUI editor.

Vim uses text objects for that kind of thing, t being the tag text object. `dat` deletes the JSX tag enclosing the cursor, `cit` deletes the contents of the tag and leaves you in insert mode, etc. Matchit (included in neovim) can also be co

A fairly easy way to do it is either c()^[P or c(^r") The first leaves you in normal mode the second in insert mode. I recommend vim-surround by tpope though.
