I’m really curious why Trump is suddenly open to aiding Ukraine. Regarding the war, he’s been pretty favorable to Russia until now. As with all things Trump, the answer is usually to figure out how this can benefit him personally, but there

You voted for theater and for cruelty against the least fortunate. If they really wanted to bring jobs back, they would aggressively go after the businesses that hire illegal workers.

I invite you to spend an hour watching Fox News and then an hour listening to NPR and still claim those are just two sides of the same coin. The level of bias, propaganda, and active misinformation is so much greater on Fox News and it’s no

I mostly disagree with regulations that specifically limit progress, but I can also see the benefit of phasing changes in at a regulated pace in order to give the real humans who depend on those jobs with very little social safety net time

It only makes sense to fire someone who needs to be nudged into getting their job done if you can find a replacement at a similar cost who doesn’t.

Agreed. I spend maybe 20% of my time writing code. The rest is gathering requirements, design, testing, scheduling. Maybe if that 20% now takes half as long, I might have time to actually write some tests and documentation

Bill Gates was seen as a bit of a villain in the 90s, especially by the Linux and Mac user base. He never did a nazi salute though. Those were simpler times.
