   I've had quite the opposite experience in fact. You can find numerous topics on places like r/rust where people talk about the downsides of the language compared to others (for instance).

   Many reasons actually. The tooling is excellent (builtin package manager, test suite handling, etc.) The language itself is also very good in that it prevents you from doing many mistakes you'd do in other languages. It's hard to
