They're fine if you don't mind an outdated chipset and paying multiple times the cost in hardware value. SD835 was released in 2016 and the 10nm samsung process is nowhere as efficient as equivalent TSMC arch nor current chips (s

I'm no stranger to OnePlus devices. I've had a OP5 and 6T. They have repeatedly released ROMs full of bugs, crashes, and required factory resets on major version upgrades. Their update lag has increased since being combined with O

While we're on the topic of rooting, only Google, Sony, Xiaomi, Asus, Motorola, OnePlus, Samsung (Exynos only, breaks eFUSE) are bootloader unlockable. Of the above, only Google has what I would consider "proper" software sup

What about the default setting to have Pocket forced down my throat, an inability to install custom/self-made extensions (permanently, not temporarily), and an inability to install any extension outside of the default mozilla provided

They're locking features (like encryption?!) behind a license. Who knows what other essential features they might put behind a paywall. Their licensing fees aren't even released yet. Seems sketchy to me. I'd stick to meshcent

I love this app except when it has issues detecting when I dock/undock my laptop (which plugs/unplugs the same monitors again), and then Monitorian won't show any of the monitors that I have connected.

Haha, I saw that. Terrible value proposition compared to the 4a. Lose headphone jack, gain IP68, wireless charging, but pay a bunch more for it.

Hey - I had a P10 too! :) Ended up giving it away after custom roms refused to work on it and all the devs gave up on the phone because Huawei stopped allowing bootloader unlocks. I specifically bought the P10 because I didn't think th

The closest (proper) android equivalent to me is the Pixel 4a (at 144mm height). Unfortunately the 5a and (leaked specs) of the 6a are both gigantic and is unfortunate to me. It does a lot of things right: is a (relatively) smol phone, has

Look into air washer humidifiers instead. Venta, Boneco, and Xiaomi among others make them. They use a rotating wheel and a fan to humidify the air. Most of the parts can be washed in the dishwasher so no replacement filters are required.

I actually use Linux Mint for this reason - Cinnamon is just awesome (except the random crashes every once in a while) Docking support is great, but sound output needs to be swapped manually sometimes.
