My 2 cents: While intriguing, I remain doubtful. My issue is that they give us the stats in averages. The control that stays home has significantly higher scores on average. That part, I'm not disputing. What I'm asking is if the

I feel like I see this a lot in general. People fret over the details, when ultimately what matters is just that it works. No, I don't care if we use a builder factory or a factory builder, I just care that it won't crash and shit

| The best solution (IMO of course) is to stop unquestionably believing anything you see, read, or hear. Why most people choose otherwise has saddened me since childhood. Agreed, but I think it's been long proven most people do. People

I have to agree that this will be inevitable. Fake videos _will_ be created to spread misinformation. I bring you no solutions. Our best programmatic tool for these kinds of video analysis is currently the exact same technology that enables

There's a difference between "difficult" and "can't be done". Yes, facial recognition has come a long way, but it's still non-trivial to set up a custom facial recognition service for your particular needs

Acronym aside, I think this is fantastic. These patterns (RPC, pubsub) have been around for a while now, and are fairly well understood. Formalizing them into a common, agnostic protocol that everyone can use is a huge win for all parties.

I agree that it's not necessary, but: Sockets are generally accepted as the standard. If you want to stream data to another computer, that's pretty much the only way to do it. The solution has been decided already. A lot of these

From a mobile perspective, this site is beautiful. 1) renders beautifully, easy font size to read 2) offline access, so I can read it whenever 3) gave me the option to add to home screen, which when selected, opens in its own native app. C

This reads as a fairly myopic solution. “People should be free to walk down the street without being watched by the government,” So why not cut to the heart of the matter: don't allow governments to do mass surveillance. Simply stoppin
