WhatsApp went from being a poster child to an ugly donkey in my country (Uzbekistan & other countries in Central Asia). Just two years ago everyone I knew was using WhatsApp, and what happened now? Most people use either Viber or Telegr

I wish I could downvote you but I don't have enough karma. Calling all Russians "communist f*ckers" is weak sauce. There are plenty of people in Russia who hate communism and who are against current situation.

No doors or windows in the house to let the smell escape :) On a serious note -- kitchens need to have a door (and not be connected to dining rooms or living rooms without doors). That way smell stays in the kitchen and escape through a sep

I am not a hacker. I'm more a designer and business person but I also started cooking while building our mobile app product. 1. I cook for several reasons: (a) I am sick of eating the same food every day. The smell of noodles (and othe

Programmers typically swap capslock for ctrl. So you press capslock (aka ctrl) with left hand and L with right hand -- all fingers on one row.

Uhmm, did you not notice that HUGE countdown timer? That pretty much covers entire world. And, no, whole world doesn't use GMT (talk to Indians and Chinese about what time they use). Also, entire US doesn't use PDT time. You know,

This statistic wasn't there but one could imagine that it would be higher than 20%. Also, keep in mind that success is a subjective term -- for some people it's when you make $1M, break-even or get acquihired, for others it's

Actually, the post says it explicitly that this 20% includes only failures. --> "... entrepreneurs who previously failed have a 20% chance of succeeding."

Instagram/Facebook is NOT going to do anything about the name. Just look at the history. Facebook launched an iOS app and called it "Paper." And guess what? There was a very popular app, which was called "Paper" too

I can vouch for UMBC. UMBC has a strong talent pool. Sadly, many CS grads end up working in cyber security in VA, MD or DC. Although, I do personally know a few who got jobs at Google and Zynga. I do agree that startups in DC lack young peo

Keep in mind that there are lots of people voting from developing nations. This poll doesn't have a good breakdown on the lower end. That is, a founder making $4,000-8,000 a year can easily survive in Asia, but that's quite far of
