To be fair the ads tend to be better than the mountain of shit that my elderly relatives share on there. Then again I very, very rarely visit the site in the first place.

To be fair, some of us were sticking case windows and cold cathode lights into our gaming PCs 20 years ago so we could look uber-1337 at LAN parties. (I am now firmly in the "RGB is dumb" camp like the other grumpy old people. Oh

Sure there is. It's a mass-produced PCB. Just take the old one out and drop a new one in. Whether Tesla are willing to foot the bill outside of warranty, however, remains to be seen.

I bought a Panasonic 1080P dumb TV a few years ago. Turns on instantly, no apps, no ads, no updates, no tracking. I have no idea what I'll do when it finally dies. For streaming and playing media from my NAS I use an Nvidia SHIELD TV.

Needs to be a SPA with autoplaying video, nagging popups and 100MB+ of JS dependencies. Oh, and it needs to show a blank page to anyone who dares have JS disabled.

The video footage may be inspiring and I agree that it's a huge shame that it was erased but it really is of very little scientific value compared to the other research and data gathered on these missions.

Linux repos can be hosted on a local disk. Or you can order a CD/DVD through the post with mirrors of the repos. Which OS handles this better, in your opinion?

I doubt this is exclusive to open source. Pretty much every team of developers has drama and conflict. I'd put money on the exact same conversations happening at Apple and Microsoft, but in those cases it's happening behind closed

"Reddit Is Fun" is great and has been around for years, the unfounded belief that they may block access one day isn't really a valid reason to not use it.
