Jenkins also supports this out of the box, and if it didn't have it for the pipeline DSL, again, Jenkins is a general purpose runner, you can just install docker, and run the script to run builds in the docker containers

I don't really buy this. Asdf is where your fingers land for general purpose typing, which predates computers, thats not something gaming gets to own. Default movement in games is also WASD.

I feel a little dumb asking this, but why is 'asdf' used in the moniker? Is there any significance to it?

> Oh, scratched your CD? TOO BAD. Maybe try one of these folk remedies with tooth paste or some such. Not folk remedies, you can take it to a game store and most have the equipment to resurface the CD.

Seems fine to me, I don't really understand why people think CI is hard and they need to shop a different platform. All these systems are is a glorified shell script runner. It seems like developers just keep making up new DSLs over an

I used Pandora from inception, but swapped to Spotify because the algo stopped working completely for me, and they ran into licensing issues with a lot of content and a lot of the oddball music I was listening to or used as a seed for stati

I remember getting 25 foot cables, but I know I'm definitely in the minority, my dad worked as a telephone installer, and loved setting up audio systems so I had a bit extra access to the cabling stuff.

Aux out of pc into your home audio system did the trick. CDs were getting soooo cheap back then you could just burn mixes and cd players started to put in direct mp3 compatibility around then. I grew up a geek though, so this probably just

But wasn't this already what the dance/edm scene was already doing? I don't think it's particularly ahead of it's time. Edit: or more specifically the entire vinyl album history was built on EP/SP releases no?

Anyone else get an empty page on mobile Firefox when they try to go the article? All that renders for me is a comment entry box. If I go back to news I can see the article list just fine.

I just don't understand why people have gone down this ci in the cloud train. I've been using some form of build scripts locally and then just extended that to run on jenkins as a standard flow for the longest time and reproducibi

This isn't really true, game devs have had to deal with client-server authenticity issues since the beginning of multiplayer gaming. There's a lot of lessons learned around and why there's whole sets of middleware designed to

Your light mode privilege is showing but seriously, maybe instead of writing an article with a tone about everything that's wrong with a preference you have you could instead. do what every dark mode user has done and like you said..

I'm confused on the premise that AI is eating software. What does that even mean and what does it look like? AI is software, no?

Its a neat way to render, but I don't think it qualifies as voxel, it can't render arbitrary volumes, and the data storage can't contain more than a single position for a given x,y. It's just a neat implementation of a h

Why is everything only plotted between 4 and 8 if the scale of the least liked topic should be 0 and most liked should be 9. Also 4.5 is the midpoint, but 4 is displayed as bright red and 6 is a muted gray blue, why? This makes no sense exc

Love hearing about new methods in the voxel space! It's a bit unfortunate the article conflates voxels with a specific rendering technique. Voxels are just the usage of the 3d grid. It seems like based on the middle section that the au
