I'd use it, if it were able to work with like Newegg, or something. Basically, it just encourages people to shop together and buy in bulk.

That could be interesting. What if, instead of faces on the cams, it was your desktops. :P Also, what's to stop them from just showing their junk like on Chatroulette?

Interesting concept. Personally, I wouldn't ever use it for anything serious, but perhaps for comical purposes. The color scheme is very light, too. Perhaps a little bit more contrast.

I feel like Fundry makes a very direct an unpleasant approach to this. I enjoy Kickstarter so much because it doesn't come off as being "all about the money." It's not about "building ideas, getting paid." It's a little more mutual than tha

Why wouldn't you want the $15 rebate, though? I'm not calling the idea bad, I'm just playing devil's advocate. You cited personal information as the reason, but you'd have to give personal information to the rebate trading site, too. Also,

I'm aware of IRC. I've hosted my own IRC server since 1999. But, I wasn't asking about IRC. Although, IRC is my inspiration for this question. I'm talking about a forum, accessible from the web obviously.
