Or by running your botnet's C2 on it. There's no kill switch or sinkholing your botnet without killing the entire blockchain.

Not sure what you mean by heartbeat groups, but if I'm guessing correctly this sounds fairly similar to chaffing and winnowing https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chaffing_and_winnowing which lets information from multi

>Also, for some perspective, at that time Ubiquiti kept all the hardware signing keys in a private GitHub repo that every employee had read access to. And they were in plain-text. So... yeah. This is frankly worse than any of this other

The annoying thing is this likely isn't easy to circumvent without an actual jailbreak since (from an evening of shoddy reverse engineering), the AES hardware responsible for FairPlay encryption gets locked out if the system is booted

I've gotten hired because of vulnerability reports. It helped skip a lot of the "convince me that you know what you're doing" phase of interviews and it was then mostly just social/team fit!

Right, but you'd somehow need to not only get your hands on the URL of a private doc but then inexplicably convince them to use the "send feedback" feature on that same private doc. This is a neat bug, don't get me wrong

I mean, I'm not close to Little Snitch's development but I'm pretty sure they used to use a kernel extension. Kernel extensions are deprecated but they aren't going anywhere anytime soon since it seems like Apple just

ffmpeg -i <original> -o out.mp4 also a super easy way to do this too since it'll get re-encoded. I don't know why screen recordings aren't handled this way automatically

Scroll zoom is also great for giving live technical demos! I picked this up after watching some WWDC videos and it's so much better for drawing focus during a live demo than using something like a laser pointer.

What in the world, that's been here the entire time? I've been looking up how to do it in bash every time I've needed to do it. It's so strange how macOS has this appearance of simplicity but just below the surface you h

The nicest thing is that it auto-escapes the path too so you can safely type a command and then drag any file as an argument without worrying about spaces and shell characters.

Oh my god this is so useful! I've known about the 'drag into your terminal' thing for ages but not needing to use the mouse and just doing command-option-c is so much nicer!

I wonder how much data it would take to actual cause noticeable (or triggerable) behaviors in the model. Like I've noticed certain models have been trained off of my university's course captures by their very odd and specific voca

This has been my (unfortunate) experience trying to help some friends and family over to various distros over the years. Linux is in the odd cycle of assuming users are comfortable using the command line to do things which inevitably leads

Not exactly what you asked for, but https://github.com/minimaxir/big-list-of-naughty-strings/ does have a lot of inputs which, if given as names, would turn out the bugs you're looking for.

Could be a fun way to hunt for buffer overflows on internal shipping services. Just fill out the sender name field to just "óóóóóóóóóóóóóóóóóóóóóóó" and let it expand. If the parcel arrives, not vulnerable. If the packet doesn

My biggest gripe with type inference is compile time performance (in regards to Swift especially). When I'm writing hundreds of lines of frame layout code, I have to explicitly write `let transientValue:CGFloat = ...` hundreds of times

I'm glad that someone is finally doing this. We all really need someone to force us to migrate to v6 finally, and I only did that once I realized I couldn't access my home network over cellular anymore.
