Sure it's problem but one that doesn't need a state nanny. Kids could always get jazz mags from friends, find VHS tapes, be told stories, see topless women etc. The difference here is that it's easier, but that's partly

No but therapists like AI are not your friends. They're there for the money as nobody else would listen to this kind of thing day in day out for free. Your money stops - poof your therapist vanishes, not even a personal follow up call

How is this browser specific or mentioned to be browser? The technologies can be purely "enterprise integration" of backend services. When was swagger (openapi) for example forbidden to be used for RPC? E.g. an endpoint that doesn

MCP is flawed but it learnt one thing correctly from years of RPC - complexity is the biggest time sink and holds back adoption in deference to simpler competing standards (cf XML vs JSON) - SOAP - interop needs support of DOC or RPC based

No this isn't always the case. Perhaps if somebody were to shut down your favourite online shooter without warning you'd be upset, angry and passionate about it. Some people like myself fall into this same category, we know its a

Love it. I'm trying to understand why all command line tools don't use io_uring. As an example, all my nvme's on usb 3.2 gen 2 only reach 740MB/s peak. If I use tools with aio or io_uring I get 1005MB/s. I know I ma

Ah right, so forking the codebase, then deleting the original repo forces git to forget all copies. Gotcha thanks for the enlightenment.

Superscaler architecture and branch prediction was the next big thing mid 90s. If you've not heard of it then that might be because it's now considered elementary in processor design.

Thanks for taking the time to test. This helps prove my point that adds (and deletes) are generally faster by default when not pre sizing, or removing. Typically (in my experience) ArrayLists are used without thought to sizing, often becaus

Every so often a developer challenges the status quo. Why should we do it like this, why is the D in SOLID so important when it causes pain? This is lack of experience showing. DI is absolutely not needed for small projects, but once you st
