As a heavy Working Copy user, with all the respect I have for its great developer, it is just a bad UX; Buggy, slow as hell, and you need to constantly wait for it as you can't minimize the app as the dumb iOS will kill it. SSH via Bli

Well, you're better served to just migrate to an open podcast app like Overcast, PocketCast, Podcast Addict, etc. Their player is better than Spotify by an order of magnitude anyway.

You’re just deflecting. Your argument is as invalid as “mutations are random so evolution is false.” Randomness in an algorithm does not mean the algorithm is non-converging.

Sources? I imagine toiling away at bullshit academic tasks will have some weak positive correlation with job performance.

I have shell functions to scrape the date from Google or the first appearance in the wayback archive. It’s a good rough estimate. (This info gets added automatically to any article I send to my Kindle for later reading.)

Signal is single-device. The crappy web app that reads stuff from your phone is not a real client.

I also started doing something similar via org-files, git, emacs, and Working Copy. It has worked pretty well, though Working Copy (the iOS git client) was buggier than I expected (but they have a great developer and support). My network is

> It gives power to developers It gives power to senior, rich developers, at the cost of newcomers. It's a toxic zero-sum play, which contributes to, e.g., shitty 10x overpriced health-care.

Large swaths of web are garbage. Wasting people's time and attention on visiting pointless sites for something presentable in a small box is obviously not economical. And if some of the sources somehow die? New sources will spring up.

Theory is not trustworthy. Here in Iran, we have had extreme protectionist policies for decades in, e.g., cars, and all it has done is made the car factory owners rich while car quality stagnates and regresses, and prices keep rising.
