What's the difference between blogs and hobbyist sites though? A defined purpose? monitization? I suppose it would be a hard fight to get google to specifically favour non-adsensed sites.

After a few days practicing this, it becomes second nature, and doesn't hold you up at all. Commit histories also become much quicker to parse through, especially with "log --oneline". I notice no hindrance on my speed becaus

I think I'd strike a difference between power and influence. Managers necessarily have influence, or quickly grow it, by the nature of being a good manager.

You're on a ycombinator website. They might be a good place to start.

Well that's just what a manager should be doing. Their job is to ensure everyone else can work. Quite literally a "production assistant". They should deal with all the BS that workers don't want to, so they can get to th

I used to live and die by the command line. Then I met sublime-merge. And fell in love. It is the only Gui I find more efficient and beautiful than my terminal. I highly reccomend it.

You're right. It's the perfect form of media in terms of consumption addiction. It's completely opt in, and easily opted out of. I wonder what we can learn from that.

You could install WSL and have native VIM in bash in a distro, with the normal Linux package management solution.

I can't agree more concerning the move towards 'slim' bodies. I can't fit into the majority of popular jeans brands for the lowly crime of playing hockey as a youth, and now having larger than average legs and glutes.
