An important detail not covered here, is dates. Json doesn't support dates, so we use strings in whatever format. A good new configuration language should have dates. IMO. So far it seems like Json with comments =)

It's very funny to me that some comments before someone wrote that helix has the best multiple cursor implementation. I was curious about what could it be. Then you mention it doesn't have two essential behaviours that I am used t

Developer experience is not necessarily better with JS based stacks. In fact it can be worse than many, including modern C++. Of all the points you mention, compatibility with websites is probably the only one that can be considered exclusi

I wish I could upvote you more. This is the problem with the current generation. They are addicted to their phones, and want fast dopamine triggers, without actually putting the hard work.

About the personal stereo, Tidal gives me FLAC quality, and my wired Steelseries headphones provide much better audio quality than any stereo I had own last century. However, I don't own an iPhone, I have a Xiaomi with an audio socket.

This Monty Hall problem was asked to Marilyn vos Savant, a woman with an extremely high IQ, who solved it correctly, and many readers of her column, including PhD and mathematicians, declared her solution wrong. Then careful analysis proved

An abstract data type is a software design pattern. The difference is that design patterns are a technique where you use features not implemented by the compiler or language, and all the checks have to be done by the developer, manually. Th

Now I see your point. You are an absolutist. If something is not 100% perfect and works for all possible cases, then it is immediately worthless. Language being in that category. I also disagree with your point and your arguments. So many s

The way I see it, Aristotle used language as a reasoning tool. Logic inference rules, modus ponens, and so on. Aristotle was also unaware of the incompleteness problem discovered by Gödel, that no reasoning tool of that type can be complete
