A modern iPhone sure but what about the iPhone 2/3G? That’s basically a low power ARM chip and we have Nintendo Switch emulators with very good performance. Anything pre-security chip should not be that difficult to emulate.

AI (specifically voice recognition and LLM’s) can probably help solve this problem by having the LLM control things for you while “talk to the thing like a human” is the exposed interface.

There’s nearly 0 demand for this why is why you can’t do this. If there was this would either be an OS feature or a very popular third party app.

I mean I just want an EV because it’s more practical for city usage unless you do long trips. It’s more of a failure of automakers to make a basic EV that can be easily fixed and has a basic button based control system with CarPlay/AA

Honestly if you don’t use a car day to day or are fortunate enough to live in a place where public transit isn’t borderline unusable like most of California you can probably get away with renting a car when you need one. Cars are expensive

I do think salaries will be adjusted a little bit in new listings but 115k vs 116k is not a huge difference and I doubt most medium or large employers will make a stink over reducing people’s pay over this

I’m curious, why is C bad at the OS level? It seems like having stuff like classes as improved structs would be helpful as long as you avoid pitfalls like virtual functions/STL containers. C++ compiled without the STL and specific feat
