Barring faction imbalance, there's a 50% chance to win by staying in base. However, I'm not sure how running around and dying could negatively impact your win percentage unless the other bot is also outside of the base.

There are plenty of people that do not see large parts of /pol/ as satire. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if a majority of the posters on /pol/ largely agree with the general culture. It's interesting to me t

That's not necessarily true, though. Consultants often work hourly on contracts, which means that you're typically punished for being efficient as you won't have as many billable hours. This generally means that you're b

I would imagine it could be related to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imminent_lawless_action . Although I am not a lawyer, so take that with a pinch of salt.

The difference is that in American universities English is the primary language, and if you can't communicate in English then you shouldn't be attending somewhere where English communication is required. I disagree with your asser

If you read the linked article it's more about a social shift than driven by law. I.e, many individuals are foregoing cash for cards, to the point where churches and 'homeless' now accept cards.

I think the "Random" part is a bit disingenuous. Four to five expert chess players suggested moves for the world team. I feel that for any reasonable non-expert it comes down to "choose between these suggested moves" rat

Turns out the guy who found the Iphone 4 and sold it to Gizmodo regrets it as well. At least Gizmodo earned a pretty penny, though. "Gizmodo told me they would give me $5,000 for the story, and another $3,000 after it was confirmed by

If the crime resulted in downtime or in any other way inconvenienced someone else, it wasn't a victimless crime. Disregarding semantics, I completely agree that the potential punishment is not at all proportional to the crime in this case.

Hardcore and casual gaming used to be referring to the amount of time spent playing video games, IIRC. Nowadays, a casual gamer seems to be someone who enjoys primarily easier/social gaming (farmville etc).
