If I was asked to engineer such a tracker, I would definitely buffer data inside to flush when connected to celluar network. Not always real time, but much more useful.

It is totally okay to train Copilot on GPL code, but the resulting generated code should also be released under GPL license, clearly being a derivative work. I don't even know why it is being discussed.

About two years ago I bought Lenovo M715 for my mom for about 300 USD. It included 8 GB RAM, 250 GB SSD, case, mouse and keyboard.l, not to mention support and warranty. Its' AMD 2200G CPU is 20% better in CPU Mark test.

Still a bit shocking that for newest NVMes the price difference can be an order of magnitude (not mentioning Optane, which is two orders more expensive). I understand that packing more data into same form factor is more expesive, but still.

Since Yandex virtually khows from collected data when the driver going to go home, it effectively gives driver extra ride in the wrong direction and then longer ride in the right direction, makes driver literally make extra miles.

For me it's 3.14 first, then it's 3.1415, because 15 is 14+1, then I just memorize 92 and 6. Better than 355/113, which I don't think are that easy to memorize.

I am talking about concrete examples and consequent trend. Uber is fiddling with price hikes and "high demand areas" to make drivers work more. Yandex.Taxi in Russia gives drivers "let's go home" button to catch a r

I have a feeling that we have something like Pareto principle in effect here. We spent 20% of effort to solve 80% of the problem. Now we have to spend 80% of effort to solve remaining 20% of the problem :( I am starting to believe in hybrid
