Regardless of whether or not sending deauth packets counts as jamming, the root problem can be solved by simply enabling and requiring protected management frames on your router/hotspot/phone. Once you have protected management fr

Not when normalized with read/write speeds. I can personally confirm this by scaling the PCIe bus speed of my own SM951 down to 2x lanes on 2.0 (which limits the r/w to about 550MB/s).

Instead of moving from their old NPAPI to the newer and safer PPAPI, which would work better for e10s, they simply chose to drop plugin support entirely (except for Flash). I think that's pretty lazy of them.

There is even an actual Unicode symbol for the left-pointing magnifying glass ([1]) that they are using, yet they use the PUA anyways. I use the [1] Unicode symbol semantically on my blog with a custom font at http://eligrey.com&

Don't you mean the other way around? Mine was out years before theirs. They should have googled the words "async.js" (which my lib was the top result for prior to caolan's repo) before naming their project.

Firefox has had this for over 6 years through my async.js[1] library that relied in JavaScript 1.7's pythonic iterators and generators. The syntax is similar, as you have to mark/encapsulate functions with async() to use the libra

Unfortunately, AG Bethge has not (and most likely will not) released the original code, so this is very nice to have! The results from karpathy's implementation definitely feel a little "off" but it is very good nonetheless.

Does this affect phones that can be used as hotspots? If so, you can say goodbye to any remaining Android phones that come with unlocked bootloaders, such as the Nexus series.

You don't need to be on Google's ad network to use swiffy (the conversion tool that they are using), it's open source.

Panopticlick doesn't use everything available. WebGL alone adds an additional 5.11 bits of entropy[1]. Other things such as your local network address from WebRTC, core count, etc. all can add a lot more entropy for fingerprinting. [1]
