If current progress with MicroOLED panels continues, we should expect 5000x5000 displays that are small enough for use in a glasses form factor with light field displays. This will significantly help with the reduced effective resolution. T

They're comparing apples to oranges. The $80,000 military VR headsets of 1989 absolutely did not use OLED or OLED light field displays. They've only recently been available from manufacturers at any price with their current pixel

That's nothing. One of the biggest injustices with Google Cast is that capturing system audio on Android is a whitelisted system-only permission and only Google Cast (and a couple system apps) are allowed access to this. Somehow screen

There is an official Bing API coming out soon (a Bing developer recently mentioned this in an HN thread a couple days ago, although I can't find it atm), so they won't have to rely on Yandex for much longer. I have no idea if the

USB-C has an analog audio output mode (audio adapter accessory mode which uses the device's internal DAC), so you won't have to do that. There will eventually be passive USB-C→3.5mm cables for use with analog-only headphones.

Fundamentally, selling software for your users to run on their own devices is pretty close to zero cost. It's literally just the cost to get it to their device, and that's it (disregarding payment processors, support, etc.).
