That's how we do it. Not with sed exactly, but string replacement. One is a bull email sender that only supports VBScript, the other is C#, but the users aren't supposed (or need) to have full templating powers, so this way it

And the picture is a woman looking very pleased and "yes, I always wanted to throw nuclear bombs at asteroids, and there’s nothing you can do about it!" :D

I live in a historical city center in Germany. There aren’t many parking spaces, and sidewalk parking is illegal anyway. Scooters still end up on the sidewalk and in my way. I really wish there were some stronger regulations. FWIW, I don’t

How? Discord is a platform, none of the servers I'm in are even slightly toxic.

Content mostly didn't change, but the value of Reddit tanked, I often encounter links to Reddit that are now deleted, and I'm also nowadays deleting my old (2 weeks) comments and posts.

Yes, there are different ways to subscribe. And again, I find it extremely weird to be supposed to keep paying indefinitely because you keep using something you bought.

Going to concerts is sadly not a "want to go" thing, but "is there anything that’s close by", and I say that as someone living in a metal country like Germany.

Some background: in 2009 the debt brake [0] was enacted, limiting the budget deficit to 0.35% of the GDP. The current government tried to circumvent it (most economists seem to see the law as stupid, but that might well be my bubble), our c

If you think bands actually sell albums on one site for $2 that they sell for $10 everywhere else, then I guess you can just go and keep believing. I just think it might be better to not support sites like that and instead torrent directly

Do people use BC in other ways? I mean, I guess technically, you could just keep streaming, but do people do that? I’d assume anyone using bandcamp cares about having the music actually available.

That looks like piracy, but paying someone for it? Thanks, but I actually prefer to support the artists I listen to, and when I can’t afford to, or it’s impractical, to not pay those who prevent artists from getting money.

Bandcamp doesn't need to change, it can just keep going. That's what I meant with "neither sale", because there were also some (if fewer) doomsayers for the epic sale. It got sold. Nothing changed. And again, you own the

At least so far, Bandcamp has not changed after the sale (neither sale). You can still buy music, and try it out for multiple album streams before buying (unless the artist or label disable it, which is rare), and download as FLAC. Granted,

Well, this made me realize that downforeveryoneorjustme.com is useless, because HN was down from multiple servers, but dfeojm happily claimed it was up, only later changed it to down, not sure when, but at least 10 minutes after it started.

The idea is cool, but I have some suggestions. 1. Use links, when there’s a list, I open links in new tabs that I want to check. This is some kind of JS-only app that doesn’t have links, only JS behavior. Please don’t break the browser for
