It’s integrated in uMatrix. I’s the puzzle symbol. You can only activate it, if uMatrix already detects recaptcha.

Yeah (though when it broke thanks to an ff update, a fix was released and then it was archived again). But it still works, and I use it because it has a vastly better interface for domain/type blocking than uBo.

I use the uMatrix plugin to automatically allow what’s required for ReCaptcha, that tends to work. I do get the annoying picker sometimes and have an AI extension to solve it for me, but it’s relatively rare, like 1 out of 5 times max (I ge

I know this is partially a joke, but I’d like to mention that as a Firefox user with uBo and uMatrix, I almost never have to solve challenges with ReCaptcha.

We use CSS paged media to create e-books and invoices (using weasyprint [0]). One of the most helpful resources for me was print-css.rocks [1], they cover a lot of what’s possible and include which tools support which parts of it (tools tar

I don’t mind Medium being monetized, but I have the domain downranked, because posting on medium is a very strong signal that the content is worthless.

We had a (much smaller) regional (Lübeck and Ostholstein) power outage here in Northern Germany in I think 2018 or 19. No mobile internet until everything was restored ~6 hours later, and most of the time no other cell service either.

Dunno, my N100 with 1 SSD and 1 nVME (which hosts over 15 services including jellyfin) is probably not really relevant compared to my desktop PC. ~10W vs 180-350W depending on what I’m doing.

FWIW, online banking in Germany was like this until ~10 years ago (maybe 15). Sundays and overnight, the service would be closed "for maintenance". That was "fun".

You are (maybe) joking, but I’d guess there’s an extremely high overlap between HN users and Kagi users. I converted someone from a metal discord I’m in to Kagi with a promo gift last year, and he’s also the only HN user on the server ;)
