I went from frequent lucid dreams as a child and teen, to no (remembered) dreams, back to vivid (but very rarely lucid) dreams. Ask while having aphantasia, I wish I could get even approximately close to dream images while awake.

Just found this [0] in another thread. Some few allow no unlocks, most allow them under certain circumstances. Some few without a waiting period or additional sacrifices. So not as great as I thought, but also not as bad as you made it seem

Sadly KDP Select makes that impossible. Preferential rates for authors in exchange for exclusivity. There’s a lot of (human) slop there, but enough stuff I want to read.

The meaning is I install my own software and set up as I want. Some of it on my 2 mini servers in my living room, some (prosody and seafile) on a VPS. Calling the latter not self hosted seems weird to me.

Because most people have multiple devices. I self host about 20 services, that get accessed from 7 different devices for just 2 people.

I’ve been running Prosody [0] for many years now. Don’t ask me why I chose it over another server. I used to have a jabber.org account that I used before that, already back when I could use jabber to communicate with gchat and facebook mess

Had a similar (not as bad) experience on .de a while ago. That was when I canceled my prime subscription which I had almost as long as it existed here.

While I don’t agree with the best ever chorus, I’d say it holds up decently well with mods. The HD mod makes the graphics acceptable, and I replayed it in 2023 or something and it was still great.

Yeah, symfonium is paid, but almost universally recommend. I switched to seafile from nextcloud, much faster and I never used all those NC features anyway. Native photo syncing and backup support on android. I recently got that big CD box o
