After a quick search on prefabricated homes and reading the Wikipedia article, I'm really not clear on what their limitations are. Most of them seem optimized for warmer weather? I would really appreciate some links describing the curr

I never thought of it that way. Thanks for the insight.

I'm honestly just super-pumped about any artificial intelligence system that's starting to get an intuition of physics. Google's Deep Mind put out some kind of cool stuff recentely [1], but I'm mostly just excited for an

Great. I have another form of mathematics that I need to learn. I'll put it on the pile on top of geometrical algebra and stochastic processes.

Neato! I'm surprised they went with a JIT compiler over a full-on compiler, but that might just be me not understanding: a) Compilers b) How a JIT compiler would apply to this situation My lab-mate Jan Gosmann recently did something si

This looks like a really cool architecture, but I'm mildly uncertain about how well it scales given the simplicity of the tasks demonstrated. Delivery tasks are the most basic tasks in RL research. I'd be interested in predator&#x

I'm working in the lab that built Spaun [1] that might be of interest to you. We use the Vector Symbolic Architectures you talk about in combination with Deep Learning and other stuff to build brain models. As far I know, my lab is one

MindMup lets me think in a non-linear manner that I require when taking notes. Also, good photo embedding support. I blog about it here: https://medium.com/@seanaubin/mind-maps-for-augmented-thinki...

Disclaimer: I work in the lab that created Spaun. This seems kind of similar to Spaun [0]. You use Deep Learning to get the features you want and then you do symbolic like operations on those feature vectors to accomplish reinforcement lear

I literally just wrote a book review on this goddamn thing with a summary for hackers. This book is way too wordy and redundant. https://medium.com/@seanaubin/book-review-how-to-read-a-book...
