I was in the same boat as you a few months ago. Then I thought to myself. I wonder if Zuckerberg back in 2004 asked himself that. If Facebook is capable of running the most popular website in the world successfully on PHP, then it'll probab

I used to get RSI problems when I was younger. You have to understand that it is directly related to the amount of time you spend doing the repetitive task. In this case I'll assume its typing. (This affects a lot of people such as pianists

How many people did it affect? I would be too ashamed to admit it if i was a company offering services for programmers but didn't back up my server.

This reminds me of the micro payments businesses who have set up shop and are growing rapidly. Nowadays there is a lot of money to be made in small short term but higher risk loans. The people are getting smarter now and do not want to answ

I'm in favor of Apple. The government are being very selfish. Without Apple, the multi-billion dollar business would not belong in the US. I can't begin to imagine how many people they help by providing jobs, not only technical, but retail

You would trust in the people working to set up online shops. After all, at the time they were at the forefront of technology. Back in those days, people were more paranoid about malicious pop up windows rather than man in the middle attack

That's so true, we hackers operate in a world where many different answers can be correct. However we can generally gauge if a solution is better or worse. I guess you would need to come up with some sort of metric to measure how much 'bett
