Will test it and see if it’s a replacement for Magnet. I have another very annoying issue with 3 screens which recover from energy saving after sleep slightly delayed and screw up my window positioning once in a while where all open windows

Using the ELK stack for almost a decade to have somewhat wide events + no sampling, on not Meta scale and a few GB/day make it absolutely affordable and super fast. Unfortunately Kibana was a bit better/easier in the old versions

same problem, credit card fraud/chargebacks happening anyway, that’s why you have an intense verification process to reduce the fraud going on.

Have been in deep contact with data centre and rental server offerings in the past, there is a crazy large amount of fraud going on, e.g. 2 hours for free means 2 hours free resource to DDOS.

The funny thing, even with React and Next, it’s ultimately just files served via a Webserver and I believe it’s the least flawed version you can get without building your own implementation of a TCP server which support HTTP (good luck with

I guess the joke here is that you used to do really a lot of in-line JavaScript in HTML, there was even a time during high latency where it was better to use inline JavaScript than JavaScript imports (<script src>) for faster renderin

I‘m actually using the Libre + Omnipod Dash with a closed loop and it works pretty well (almost „flat“ blood sugar with a few spikes here and there) beside that’s, for me as tech nerd, cool to inject insuline with my phone :-). Those are th

I believe this research is hugely flawed since it seems to focus solely on bureaucracy coming directly from the European institutions, while it might be true that we as citizens don’t get actually really in touch directly with EU bureaucrac

I think the issue is in regards to who is in charge of the money and what are their incentives. Overall I believe that free and good(!) basic education independent from status and location is a solution for many problems but it seems that a

That’s all solved for you, helm upgrade in ci/cd and bump of versions has been straight forward, if not snapshot rollback via Longhorn, also for DR. Accidentally deleted data => get the last snapshot, 5 minutes it’s back (except tha

I agree with that, setting up k8s on bare-metal took me 2 days, and we needed it to deploy elastic and some other helm charts as quickly as possible without loosing our minds maintaining nodes with some clunky shell scripts. Also we bought

It depends on the product and the user/customer impact, if it doesn’t matter that it takes 200ms or 300ms why do you care? Also, if it matters and you can scale horizontally to improve performance do that first instead of spending val
