I’ve always enjoyed solving a problem with code but I’ve never enjoyed coding for coding’s sake. I always have some other end in mind, even if it’s only leaning a new language or framework or pattern. I think it’s actually quite an advantag

The WiFi functionality on Miele appliances is completely optional. Just don’t connect it to WiFi during initial setup and it’ll never do anything connected or prompt you about it. You can also reset the config if you change your mind later.

Where does this sentiment come from that Linux has come very far when it comes to gaming? When Doom 3 released in 2004 I had to use a hex editor to hand patch the executable to get sound working. Luckily someone did what OP did and posted t

For most companies, unless you haven’t switched already, I assume this won’t matter. Why switch back from Azul or whatever unless there’s a strong reason to? Nothing is preventing Oracle from trying to monetize their JDK aggressively again.

There’s an obvious and easy first step: End Prop 13 for anything that isn’t an owner occupied home. Business/capital interests won’t allow that though.
