This is total comp so probably an inflated value given that opensea equity is most likely worth zero?

It would be great to have a quick primer on why this is better than what people typically homebrew, like base62 encoding a random number.

We ported all shell scripts to Python at a company that I’ve worked for. Scripts just kept getting longer and more complex. As a language Python is great, super fast and easy to code in, very little inherent complexity. The reason I wouldn’

Anthropic doesn’t want dozens (hundreds?) of disgruntled creditors on their cap table and there might be provisions preventing such a transfer.

You should never carry a balance on any card anyways so I think the high interest rate is moot. I don’t even know the interest rate of any of my cards. The 5% back on Amazon is worth it if you buy a lot on Amazon.

Why? Mac and Linux are clearly not that related here, for example there isn’t a Mac based handheld made by valve.

I use it with ssh and password auth disabled, is there a reason not to? Might be overkill but the host is in my home so physical access if I ever get locked out is not an issue.

I’ve been waiting for years for Safari to support multiple profiles so I can have a work and personal profile, instead of using Chrome for work. Finally this year we’re getting that, goodbye chrome, it’s been a fun 10 years. Unfortunately C

Yup, HackerOne has more or less created a cottage industry of "hackers" that file HackerOne bug reports using semi-automated tools like Burp Suite etc. to get bounties.

My workout clothes go in the washer as I get into the shower, I find it too gross to accumulate sweated through workout clothes.

If you wash your clothes after working out the study seems moot, they let the clothes ripen for 28h unwashed before testing.

Exactly this. You realize that your choices actually matter in the big picture. You have only so many years to work with, it becomes clear that some of the things in the “later” bucket will have to move to the “never” bucket. That makes you

They are very reasonable and they solve a real problem. A big corp won’t use a library from a tiny 1-5 person shop if when they get acquired or go under the library dies and all they ever got was binaries. A source available license solves

I hope we’ll get automation that’ll allow us to adjust demand at scale. It’s a shame smart meters have such a bad rep in Europe due to the privacy issues. I’d like to have a water heater that maintains a range, goes to the maximum when ener

Exactly. If you ask me, it would have to run the latest triple A games like F1, Call of Duty, FIFA, Elden Ring, Dirt, etc very well and be an attractive platform for that kind of gaming. The FTC is IMHO correct when they see Xbox, Play Stat

I strongly disagree, mobile and console/PC gaming are not competing. It’s a completely different audience, different games and so on. I’d consider them mostly separate markets. The Switch tried to bridge the gap but really didn’t.

Isn’t this the sort of thing that would give Apple an excuse to detect ads and treat them differently? I’d avoid that if I were a big advertiser.

Google should simply give them a deadline, pay within 30 days or we shut your stuff down. If they don’t pay shut it off and collect in full. Everything else is unfair to customers that pay in full and on time.

Not judging, but you represent such a small fraction of the market that companies simply don’t deem it worth it when looking at the cost of supporting LAN-only. Just imagine the support tickets they’ll get.
