I've heard a lot of arguments that sounded, at first glance, like legitimate concerns. But I haven't seen any that weren't rooted in "People are telling me to be scared so my concern must be legitimate," or "I

Thankfully the political football is simmering down - I think we have mRNA flu vaccines in progress now, and attempts to stop that failed.

What's your project structure like? How many MD files do you have, how big is your backlog, your memory, how much is it loading at the beginning?

Could it be explained by the local population density - basically the walkability for each resident?

We don't require unleaded fuel for GA.

If you care about leaded fuel, the culprit now is general aviation - small airports, Cessnas, not commercial flights. If you go work on it, let me know, I'll help you!

Clothes made in the 90s used different materials and stitching than they do today, and likely cost more to produce. They'd probably need old machines they haven't had in decades.

I've shipped (to TestFlight) a fairly fun video game that's tricking my friends into working out: https://reverdure.yourstrategy.co

I bought two of these when they were new. I don't recall the price, but after mining some bitcoin in my electricty included apartment for a few months over the winter instead of running the heat, I think I ended up with ~.5 BTC.

Nike is famously one of the less wealth signalling shoe brands. Until recently I don't think they had a product for sale for more than ~$220 at all.

In the early 80s, the date was not in the 2030s - not until after the Greenspan Commission and that set of reforms.

Maybe you are misremembering. The Greenspan Commission was the last time we significantly amended social security to avoid these problems, and it was in the 80s: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greenspan_Commission

The first projected failure date I know of was 1979, which was reported on in the early 1970s. There were amendments in 1977 that should have helped, but the 1980-81 recessions made it bad again; by 1982 the Trustees said it would be insolv

Honestly, the reporting has looked the same around this since the 1980s. I've read books from them referencing how Social Security was going to be bankrupt by the 90s, or the 2000s. The fact is that older people vote way more than youn

Speeding and DUIs aren't mistakes, they're choices. There's a huge difference between the errors self-driving cars make and the equivalent errors humans make: the self-driving cars simply don't make those mistakes. In th

We don't usually fine people or send them to prison for mistakes, especially when driving cars. Insurance companies figure this out between each other.
