And also, humans vary wildly in their thinking and what's "obvious" to them. I'm about 1950 and am good in openings and tactics (but not tactics for the opponent). Others around the same rating are much worse than that b

Scid exists of course, I've used it since forever and it works fine. But you have to find your own games to fill it with (probably from The Week In Chess) and it looks like Linux did in 1998. Most of my opening stuff is just in a bunch

I didn't know that anecdote. The point that a perfect chess engine would not necessarily be hard to play a draw against (until you accidentally play a losing move) is one that many people miss. Although it could of course use some stro

But adopting a rule that says 1/0 = 0 means you may also have to accept that 1 = 0*0.

So are web applications that are completely behind auth and never need to care about SEO. They're quite different and it's a shame they're usually mixed up in these discussions.

Or consistent, or whatever. It doesn't matter, they're not relevant to the puzzle. Why do you believe the content of the labels says anything about where the treasure actually is?

No, that is a red herring, as he explains. It's not about the labels at all, there's no reason to assume the writer of the labels even knew anything about the actual location of the treasure. They're not part of the puzzle ru

No, the point is that even if both labels had said "the treasure is in the red box" then it still could have been in the green box. There is no reason why the labels should be expected to say the truth, they're just labels.

It also reminds me of the horrible stories that exist on the Internet about people committing suicide by means of a paracetamol overdose (usually with a lot of alcohol as well). They are found, rushed to the hospital, they wake up and feel

If that happens rarely, then the cars just have to queue for a few seconds, no big deal. If it becomes structural, say the neighbourhood becomes larger and substantially more cars will go there now, then the intersection will be redesigned

These are already users that want to let the company know that they are blind in order to qualify for special treatment. In that case showing the certificate doesn't seem to be much of an extra privacy issue to me.

Maybe it was used for educational purposes, someone collected bones from different places until they had a whole skeleton? And then when they died, nobody wanted to keep it and it was buried as it was human remains after all.

The majority of the current output is used to feed lifestock. We're going to have to stop eating meat almost entirely to make room for human plant based food production.
