I've also been unable to add my main email address in Facebook because "The account that owns the email address you entered has been disabled.". If I check my emails history, apparently someone named "Kyle" (not me)

It reminds me a bit of [MooTools Behavior]( https://mootools.net/blog/2011/12/20/mootools-behavior ) (from 2011!) where interactivity was created by adding tags to HTML, similar to the article!

Do you still have issues with monospaced and fenced blocks if you refresh Slack? I tested and it was very buggy when I read the other HN thread this morning (I'm in Europe), but as of right now I can't reproduce the issues.

I had this and the whole account was locked too after adding a "suspicious" one. But the delivery/reception was still working for other domains, only config changes were disabled. It seems they do that on a TLD basis, for exa

I use it for IMAP, it works great! I even filed a feature request to support different authorization/authentication (e.g. shared inboxes accessed through a regular user account), and one of the contributor implemented it. Had a great e

A friend of mine has a started to create a new language fit for European citizen. It is based on a translator-based computer program and performs a synthesis of European languages. Each word is the result of a democratic choice made by an a

Same experience from me: they run thing really bad. A TV company came to our office doing a report. They gave us the video, and I uploaded it to YouTube as a private video to share it internally. After a week the private video has maybe 20

I don't think it's a bug, since they've always supported links in their Web API, both for users and bots. It just happens the Slack client doesn't use that feature.

I think polling instead of real-time. The timeline has decent rate limits, but I can't understand if the Direct message is rate-limited globally for the app or not?

The most trivial check is using the TCP packet TTL (Time To Live). Windows and Linux doesn't have the same default value so it's "easy" to recognize which one sent a specific packet. Just look up for "ttl windows vs

Either one could work. If the single AI that controls 5 heroes is easier to program, let's imagine that. I have the feeling that it's more complicated than a 1vs1 RTS game, but I don't know why...

That's so cool! I wish they could start doing AI for team based competitive games like League of Legends where meta-play and team decision making is important. Is that too complicated to tackle yet?

I wonder if across a lot of videos, the frequency domain representations look similar and if instead of masking in a circle we could mask with other (pre-determined) shapes to keep more information (this would require decoders to know them,

Hum. You're right, but I still think you could skip the account creation. Just create the account on the fly when we connect with the first team. Then each added team is linked to the account.
