Sounds like a case of people not having working backups in place. I don't care what OS you use, hardware fails, bugs happen, files get corrupted or accidentally deleted. Have backups.

Not originally since they just sent people to the site. But these days where they just rip content from the site to give people as answers, completely depriving the site of traffic, yeah that seems basically just as bad as the AI bots.

Isn't running a webserver on those kind of a silly idea for that reason?

Yeah that's an insane price for bandwidth, they need to move providers ASAP if that's the kind of fees they get.

True, although most TV shows are around 10-15Mbps, so even with a pretty slow upload they should be able to seed at least what they've downloaded over the time it takes to watch it.

Not sure to be honest, I guess they talk about it as a photo editing suite, I mean their tagline is "The photo editor you’ve been dreaming of" which makes me think of it as an alternative to Lightroom. I wouldn't call photosh

They do, energy can't pass through a battery on the way to powering something. It just skips the battery and directly powers the device.

Never, between my windows PCs, family ones, and ones I manage at work I've never had one randomly not boot other than hardware failures. They're all basically maintenance free, nothing really breaks and they just chug along.

I assume because the US doesn't care about the potential data collection of drones flying around as long as they have the data, they just don't like it when China has it.

This is the conclusion my dad and I came to as well talking about this, part of the economy is doing really well, but the average person is not doing well.

That's what I assume, they're very specific in saying your screenshots and recordings are kept locally to be analyzed by the AI, but they don't mention the data generated by the AI from your activities.

It seems a lot worse, even if malware runs for a short time it could have access to so much stuff.

It should be starting at boot if you installed it as a service, so the indexing will be done then. After that opening and searching is instant.

I gave this a quick try the other night and it looks absolutely awful with a 720p video on a 4k monitor. I want to try some more and play with it, but I think it needs a lot of work. It basically looked like someone cranked the sharpness to

You can point it to existing folder/photo structures and it imports them as-is, you can set the mount to read only too if you want to. So if you have existing backups just add them as external libraries.

It has been working for me, even through all the stuff months ago. I wonder why some people seem to be affected constantly and some don't at all.
