The mods on the support forums who make it sound like basic functionality missing from their product is your own fault for not submitting some kind of ticket deserve the gaslighting prize of the year for each of the last 5 years. They don&#

It's just so slow, and things that I was able to figure out using Bloomberg's autocomplete I'm regularly at a loss for using Eikon. The transition of the fundamental data towards being refinitiv branded is also very uncomfort

Thanks very much. I found a blog I'll be adding to my rss feed as well as a few useful tools. Bookmarks can be really personal things, so I respect the courage in sharing.

I'm not the author, who is in this thread elsewhere, but very curious what the bug is, if only to avoid it myself since I use micro constantly.

I had no idea highlighting something and dragging it with the mouse was a thing. It works all over the place from quick testing. This is cray, how have I missed this my entire life?

Cool! A built in keybinding with a place in the Alt-g keybindings strip for command-edit:vsplit ~/.config/micro/bindings.json or similair would be awesome as well.

If you don't mind me asking, why? It seems like vi or vim is already available everywhere and this confuses the differentiating factor a bit. edit: To avoid confusion, I am asking about the vim part only, not the keybindings part.

I usually build from source for three different platforms (phone, regular pc, arm) on my main computer, and carry around the binaries with my dotfiles. Building from source consists of a single go get command, so it's not too bad. An

I was attempting to be snarky in my original comment, it was in poor taste and not too funny, apologies. If you have not yet looked at rclone, it's worth exploring, they do a great job.
