It's the weirdest thing to me how opinionated sveltekit is compared to how unopinionated svelte is. Hard to believe it's from the same people. I've bitten the bullet with sveltekit, and it does get the job done I have to admi

"ok" is a dismissal of their existence. I'm explicitly saying that I dismiss them. They are trying to goad me into replying violently, as this is what confirms that they have an effect on the world. "ok" denies them

Second sentence of that wikipedia article is: "A debit entry in an account represents a transfer of value to that account, and a credit entry represents a transfer from the account."

I ALWAYS respond with the most infuriating response a troll could ever imagine getting. I just write the two letters: ok The fact that they cannot discern if I'm giving them agreement or the side eye is delicious.

Most web server use cases have at least an order of magnitude more reads than writes. So sqlite is a good default choice for most such use cases. I don't know your specific use case though.

Sqlite has exactly the same backup solutions as other sql dbs and the author specifically recommends using litestream to backup.

No. The author is clearly and explicitly saying the edge does not make sense for most use cases. The author means sqlite makes sense if you're running one machine, which is what makes most sense for most use cases.

If I'm running on a single machine then sqlite comes out ahead of postgres/mysql. Sqlite has everything I need plus the simplicity and speed is superior. Sqlite can do terabytes of data, can handle multiple readers, has live strea
