The unfortunate catch is that you need good connections to publish in top papers. Either that, or write some rather brilliant papers.

A redditor made an excellent writeup on why this specific set of benchmarks has many issues due to how easily it is gamed. https://www.reddit.com/r/dotnet/comments/yuxkk7/comment/iwca...

Companies have been trying to do this en masse since the 90s, and there's a reason why it usually fails.

ML falls into a few broad categories: model design, data preparation, and deployment. Unfortunately if you don't have a PhD, most serious places won't have you doing model design. To add to that, data preparation is very tedious.

Expose someone to a community of billions of anonymous users and you pretty much have to expect this type of behavior, regardless of how inexcusable it is. The best thing you can do is not feed the trolls, just ignore them. They're nev

That's my biggest fear with PSVR2. There's a few AAA games and then a bunch of indie games and that's it. Until Sony treats VR as a first-class citizen I don't see this changing.

Even CAT5e supports 10gbps in your typical house (you'll want CAT6 for longer distances though), and 10gbps is likely future proof for the next 25 years (which is crazy because CAT5e came out in 1999).

I have 1gbps fiber and it's extremely rare for me to come across a server that supports anything close to that bandwidth. At 10gbps you're able to upload 500GB/hour. For home use this seems extremely unlikely, even if you

SpaceX does the same thing with Tesla engineers, and they pay contracting fees to do this, which is completely above board legally speaking.

Both Github and Bitbucket support all of that in the PR, so if necessary, update your PR with additional comments/information. When I'm looking at a change, I always go back to the PR anyways since it provides discussion relevant

Photoshop can achieve the same thing. So can women hired by pornography companies that are 18 but look younger and intentionally dress like school girls. This excuse is nonsense in the context of what's already available.

Aren't Waymo and Cruise constrained to specially tailored cities? Autonomous driving that can be activated literally anywhere in the country is far more impressive, even if it has cases where it doesn't perform as well.

I can see one massive advantage is that you could disable the db access/verification for service-to-service communication, since revoking an internal service token is exceptionally rare (and if it occurs, you have much bigger problems

I'm not sure why JWTs are considered complex. In C# I generate tokens with a couple lines of code. Sure you can get fancy with the claims, but it's not required if you're going to access the DB anyways on authenticated reques

The only argument they elaborate on is still easily addressed with a validation of the token against a database on every request, and it's hardly a drawback compared to other methods if the other methods do the same thing.

You mean the public key? The private key is what's used to sign tokens, the public key is used to verify the signature and can be freely shared. Or maybe you mean they used a symmetric key and shared that?

Apple strictly prohibits any apps outside their app store. Google does not. Yes Google abuses their popularity, but it's leagues better than Apple.
