The market is too fickle to rely on your own experience and knowledge. Remember, there's plenty of experts in the tech industry whose sole job is to trade tech stocks, this information is baked into the market. It's far more likel

Climate change is rough here in Austin TX because it's getting hotter, but we're also getting more extreme spikes in freezing temperatures. There's a whole slew of plants and trees that can't survive here because of how

That's what I said, you might not be able to get a webdl depending on if the stream is cracked, but at least webrips (which are captured from capture cards) are good enough quality anyways.

One good thing about this specific case is that it only persists in the cells exposed to it. New cells and reproduction are unaffected, which helps with the ethics surrounding gene therapy.

Yeah web-dls might be hit or miss but webrips are such good quality that it's irrelevant for most folks anyways, since it's nearly the same quality you'd see on your TV.

I've noticed that ChatGPT will speed up the monotonous part of writing code, but will often inject a few bugs into the code that I need to fix. In a way, ChatGPT has become my personal junior developer (which I only use for basic stuff

In my experience the miles they advertise are no where near the reality. My Model Y has never given me 320 miles on a charge and it's not like gas stations where you can hit one up at the last moment, on a trip you gotta start finding

8k-16k is the breakpoint where pixel density is high enough to no longer need anti-aliasing, so we have a ways to go, but once we hit that, we still have a long ways to go in rendering quality. Screenshots can look really nice, but dynamic

Not sure why the downvotes, .Result is avoided because it causes deadlocks, so you have to only use it when you are certain it won't create a deadlock condition. The most common way is to ensure it is already awaited (which defeats the

Unfortunately the solution is very nuanced and boils down to being knowledgeable enough to know when Task.Result won't cause a deadlock, which is outside the scope of this guideline.

They're referring to not using .Wait()/.Result on awaitable functions, not about making every function async regardless of whether it needs it. This was a common pitfall that people would do back in the day to avoid having to refa

I don't think people realize how tiny the population of Iceland is. For some perspective, Detroit's population is 60% higher. The mayor of Austin TX governs over double the citizens as Iceland's president.

It reminds me of the gameboy player for the SNES, where the entire gb console ran inside the cartridge and used the snes for inputs and display. In this case a PIC controller is the cpu in the cartridge doing the heavy lifting.
