We're already seeing it in things like Google buying rights to Reddit data for training. It's already happening. Only companies who can afford to pay will be building AI, so Google, Microsoft, Facebook, etc.

As long as housing is considered a financial instrument and problems like NIMBY and overly restrictive zoning continue to persist, none of this will happen.

Geekbench is also terrible though? I'm not an Intel fanboy that's upset about Intel not winning, I've owned AMD chips for most of my life. These are just terrible benchmarks that don't tell us anything. I'm more int

Cinebench is really a terrible benchmark and not indicative of real-world numbers for performance or efficiency (particularly not for any of my use cases). I'll wait for better reviews and benchmarks before deciding who's "wo

The most interesting part to me is the Cyberpunk 2077 performance compared to Snapdragon and AMD. It's surprisingly good and considering Strix Point pricing, Intel might be the next sure bet for the Steam Deck 2. If not with this, then

I've seen a lot of wild shit in Telegram channels. It's weird seeing people defend Telegram, but I guess that's American first amendment fundamentalism/fetishism. Even terrorist speech should be protected, apparently?

Well, the moderation tools might be effective, but it's clear that they're used very selectively.

All this just means that replacement parts are expensive, repairs are expensive and Apple continues to control the ecosystem. I can't believe people are praising Apple for it.

The opportunity cost is when playing the game. I'm just saying that free doesn't make up for a bad (or necessarily even a decent) game, if it is one. There's an incredible number of amazing games out there. I personally find

Even free games have an opportunity cost, or do you have unlimited time and energy to spend on playing games? Not that I'm saying Moonring isn't worth it, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's free of crit

Most users aren't consciously making this choice. It's great that you are, but every time an iPhone owner would balk at the insane repair costs, all we could do is shrug and say that's just how Apple designs their devices. So

This affects gamers who want indie games worth playing. So, yeah, why wouldn't we care? They're at least partly responsible for a handful of the best games I've played in the past decade. Their loss can't be understated.

The benefit was the funding that could be provided by Ellis, no? How are they going to make up for that if they make a new company?

Unfortunately, Zen Browser simply isn't an alternative. If you like Arc, then Zen's UI for tabs and splitting views isn't really anywhere close to satisfying the same needs.

Yeah, let's not get ahead of ourselves here. They've managed to do it with a drone, they haven't shown it's possible with stealth jets. It might be possible, it's not a "probably".
