I like the Nostromo and the follow-up versions and I have one of them. I just wish there was a full keyboard version of it and the joystick is a 4-way (8-way?) hat switch, not analog.

This depends on where you live and what the facility is like, no? At least in Germany, patient records like therapy notes are only hard copy. I don't see why they should ever be digitalized and I'd never go to a therapist or a f

It would interest me to know what the reasons are for ground radar not being more widespread and how many accidents are preventable by ground radar yearly. My first guess is that incidents where ground radar would've prevented them are

The skill of being able to engage in small talk seems relevant here, as well as the modern view that small talk is a waste of time. I mean, I agree. I'm not a fan of small talk, but I clearly recognize that it's impacted my abilit

I use the Vimium addon ( https://github.com/philc/vimium ) for Chrome/Firefox to do this. As a bonus, I get to use the standard Vim keys for navigation. At first glance the primary benefit of Link Hints would be per

I used to use a CLI client for Reddit primarily. It was great. Maybe I should check that out again...something about the CLI really appeals to me.

T420 would be perfect if it wasn't for the god awful displays manufacturers used. I'd still be using mine otherwise. Just going from a 1080p monitor back to it was a pain. After using my M1 MBP und my 4k monitor for the past year,

I love the idea. Reminds me that I've always wondered why nobody ever made a keyboard with analog joysticks for your thumbs. Feels like keyboard design has stagnated because they reached a local maxima for being good enough decades ago

I've had this issue too, actually. I think choosing a cheap version is a perfectly valid solution. Either the cheap item meets your needs or you notice things that bother you and that experience can inform your next purchase. In some c

I was just answering the question in general, not in regards to the above patch. The patch would need to be evaluated to see how it works and whether it's safe.

There's a difference between "Alice thinks it's odd" and the degree of disparaging criticism I'm seeing here. I'm really disappointed by the quality of discussion on this post.
