I hope you don't mind, but I'm only going to address one thing right now. If the conversation continues, I will continue to discuss more with you. Lets start with (A). You are correct, the way I described it does not explicitly

Thanks so much for responding. I agree that a significant cause of our disagreement is definitional. I'll get back to you either later this evening or tomorrow with a response that your comment deserves. For now, there is billable wor

Every time I start writing a response to this, I can't help but feel it will simply be misinterpreted. I thought my original response was pretty succinct and clear. If you'd like to continue, please select one discrepancy and I&

The problem with building arguments around human nature is that just about everything is human nature. Greed... Altruism... * Edit for clarity * So it can be invoked to justify almost any argument involving human behavior.

AI is just a subset of intelligence. You absolutely can describe capitalism as an intelligent system since it is primarily made up of units (people) which are intelligent. If capitalism didn't have a coherent behavior, then how could

Are you still working at the job that is imposing asp.net web forms on you? If so, maybe you could make an argument to adopt new technologies there while keeping your large pay check. If you make a business focused case for adopting new te

What a difficult question. I think it's confusing for the same reason that there are so many options, we don't know what the future will be. All I can tell you, and what most people will be able tell you is, what tech we are expl

All you can take away from the moon passing over the sun's reflection is this. The moon crossed over the sunlight reflected from the earth. To create a shadow, the moon must cross through the light emitted from the sun. This image mig
