There is nothing stopping node from running on mobile and IIRC quite a few apps embed it as a part of electron or similar frameworks. If i understand correctly bare can instead use much smaller engines like quickjs (and maybe libjs), but I&

That's just absurd. Requiring both a specific (paid) email provider and specific (both funded by ads) browsers is a joke.

Express is not a next.js alternative. It covers a small part of the server-side parts but none of the templating, client, etc. Besides the standard parts IIRC next.js has stuff for image & font optimization and more. I really dislike ne

HTTPS protects the integrity and confidentiality (to a certain point, see ESNI) of what you visit. Those are important even if you don't submit any additional data to the server. Disclaimer: I'm not a sith or a security zealot.

The difference for me is a lot broader. A wireless speaker to me mostly means a bluetooth speaker. A smart speaker means internet connected, firmware updates, feature-creep, TOS/EULA crap and a probably-sooner-than-I-expected end-of-li

So what you wanted was a wireless speaker? I think when most people say "smart speaker" they mean a speaker that they can control using the speaker itself, so not just a speaker tethered via bluetooth/wifi.

Aurora is postgres but with a different storage layer, no? It uses the postgres engine, which other postgres-compatible databases like cockroach do not, right?

Yes, if you use googles products to block googles products you have to trust google. My main point is that the extension itself does not load GA, which the parent seemed to say. It can also be used for other fingerprinting since it is a var
