Like gerrymandering, I have the strong suspicion that Trump voters won't be incentivised to vote for norm respecting leaders until a Dem does very Trumpian things to their side. I'm thinking firm 2nd Amendment reform enforcement w

Get a redirect plugin and set it up to send you to xcancel instead of Twitter. I've done it, and it's very convenient.

Targeting and accuracy mistakes happen plenty in wars that aren't assisted by AI. I don't think it's fair to assume that AI had a hand in the bombing of the school without evidence.

You can say your piece about how you don't like OpenAI working with the US military on lethal AI without making Reddit style quips.

This would be more relevant if the ui features being 'discussed' were privacy violating, but they're not. Anger about privacy violations (mostly by other software and companies) doesn't justify vitriol about right click

Illegal immigration has been a political issue in the USA for a long time now. Trump is, however cruelly, fulfilling a campaign promise. One of the few he's managed to do.

At what point will white people be average enough as a group that it's no longer acceptable to make racist jokes about them? Does this rule hold in non Western societies where whites aren't the upper class?

We live in an era where the Western social contract is breaking down and the wealthy collect more money and power to themselves than ever before. We should care about Epstein and consequences for illegal activities done by the rich and famo

If you're not paying a subscription for Meta to AI process your audio and video then they're going to get value out of it some way. It's just like any other 'free' digital service

The root comment implies that if not for warmongering, you could have had healthcare. That's not the case. If the USA had a more functioning political system (ranked choice voting etc) and didn't hate 'communism' so much

Feel free to provide Mozilla with a better funding stream. They've tried quite a few things. I'm hoping the Europeans fund development to provide an alternative to Chrome.

Expecting everyone to learn a lot about Firefox to turn on features they want is a lot more of a burden on the users than expecting opinionated power users to remove features they don't want.

Because the vast majority of Firefox users aren't contrarians or diehard anti AI crusaders. These features are helpful to people. So they're on and available for people to use, and since it's a foss customisable browser, user
