I have a stack of devices that need to get wiped. It sounds like a dumb way to spend a day off so it doesn't get done.

Zero-visibility interfaces are a challenge even for me. Often they overlap with other "swipe" features giving unexpected results There is no manual to explain them (that I know of), one must stumble across them which often leads t

I'm not convinced infinite growth is possible. Give me calm and stability over growth any day. I tell my company all of the time, that paying bills and wages IS success. But it gets a lot of grimaces from investors etc. They can shove

A few years back I had to run door dash orders to pay the bills. I noticed then that distribution of labor removes a lot of the spirit and purpose behind the work. No one at the call center is enjoying the satisfaction of a job well done, i

Freakonomics I believe it was, had a podcast on how Journalism is a public service. Meaning, it should be funded by grants. Why and how is it a public service? I wish I could remember the episode. 1. When journalists investigate their local

My argument is simple. Why do we need fancy bikes with AI when we can't even get sustainability right. It's like we are tying to solve problems we created over and over while ignoring the most obvious problems and their solutions.
