I have very little experience with arrays in JS, but I always have a nagging feeling that, if my algorithm needs me to flatten an array, then there is something wrong with the data structures I am using. Example in the article is meaningles

On the contrary, lack of canonical format means plenty of room for implementations to fiddle with the format and introduce bugs and incompatibilities. The same bag of bytes ends up parsed as two different things on two different systems, wh

Thought experiment: if I use 512-bit encryption from cleartext to intermediate blob, and then encrypt that with 256-bit encryption, is there a way to determine, by looking only at the final ciphertext, that 512-bit encryption keys were used

What do you mean by "with storage"? How much of it? If you want to cover for an 8-hour windless night, at 1 GW, you will need 8 GWh of storage, and you will need to generate a surplus of 8 GWh of electricity during the remaining 1
