That's a plausible explanation. If Microsoft solves the issue within the next 30 days, I will consider that you were right. "30 days" is an arbitrary extension of the timeline for something that was reported 4 months ago to M

Changing behavior based on user agent is necessarily intentional on the part of Microsoft. That check lies somewhere along the line between "having the direct goal of breaking authentication flow (pure malice)" and "is a comp

What relationship do you see between "company sells snakeoil to customer" and "using electricity to power a vehicle"? Those two things look completely de-correlated to me.

In my case (Tesla Model 3) releasing the accelerator results in immediate and significant braking, down to a complete stop of the car. Whereas an ICE will apply a mild engine brake and keep going.

TeX and METAFONT are also "finished software." Their version numbers converge to π and to e respectively when bugfixes are delivered, and will become precisely π and e when Knuth passes away. https://texfaq.org/FAQ

Charging is not 100%. It's around 90%. Brake pads wear out less in EVs because you get some of your energy back with engine braking. Around 22%. And saying tires are the biggest maintenance cost is hard to parse as it depends wildly on

It's saving you from an O(M²) amount of device-to-device rclone and the consequent duplication of storage space used.
