I'm bad at marketing and poor at product decisions. For 10 years it only worked with one database. It took 30 lines of code to work on many more databases but I waited 10 years to do it. Don't make my mistake! I am trying to get

For 12 years I got banks to pay for an editor I created. But yeah to grow the audience I made the database client free as others wouldn't pay. I have also created a separate BI tool so you're totally correct.

Thanks for asking. I would guess you're asking as someone that spent years learning math notations and being taught BODMAS operator precedence. The funny thing is that if you took a 3 year old child and taught them right to left it&#

Yeah I can see the benefit of pandas for those reading the code. I think they learnt from kdb that both backwards and forwards was needed. Kdb had to create a new aj0 function. But your point is valid that kdb may be over optimising for

https://www.timestored.com/b/kdb-qsql-query-vs-sql/ How many database tables have a date time column and a natural ordering? Most the data I look at. Which makes it crazy that sql is based on unordered sets.

I work in low-code and make a tool so I know this area fairly well. I can't think of any proper product made with no-code tools now but I can think of many that started with low-code and I imagine you can too. Think of every internal a

I see why the SDK and standard library maintainers would want this change but as an application level programmer I wouldn't want this change. They mention "the impending removal of the Security Manager (JEP 411), we need strong en

That's a very harsh comment to give someone that has poured hours of their life into something trying to help others unpaid. You could at least politely ask what makes it different than redash.
